Represent Scarf

The Represent Scarf 2.0 is a must have for all and is back with an important makeover!

The first version of this flag featured a yellow love heart in place of the sun as an alternative to the flag while the copyright and the licensing agreements attached to it restricted its use.

 Represent Scarf Version 1

Following the work of the Free The Flag campaign over 2.5 years, on the 25th Jan 2022, the copyright and agreements over the Aboriginal flag were changed. We are so happy to see the Aboriginal flag being used proudly on this scarf design!

Read more about about how we #FreedTheFlag.

This high quality scarf is made on Wurundjeri Country with Ethical Clothing Australia accreditation and celebrates Torres Strait Islander and Aboriginal people and culture.

Wear your values - recognise and respect the Traditional Custodians of Country.

The Aboriginal Flag

The Aboriginal Flag was designed by Lieutenant man, Harold Thomas. The black represents Aboriginal people, the red the land and the yellow in the centre is the sun - the giver of life.

  • The white five-pointed star beneath it symbolizes peace, the five major island groups and the navigational importance of stars to the seafaring people of the Torres Strait.
  • The green represents the land, the black represents the people, and the blue the sea.
